Teeth whitening
Lighter teeth with custom trays and a dentist-prescribed gel, used at home on your schedule.

Is it right for me?
- Natural teeth that have yellowed or stained over time usually respond well.
- Whitening does not change the colour of crowns, veneers or fillings, so we check those first.
- By law, whitening in the UK must be carried out or prescribed by a registered dental professional. We do not whiten teeth for under-18s.
What happens
Check-up
We make sure your teeth and gums are healthy enough to whiten, and record your starting shade.
Scan for trays
A quick scan or impression so your trays fit closely and keep the gel where it should be.
Whiten at home
Wear the trays for the time we prescribe, usually over two to three weeks.
Review
We compare shades and talk about keeping the result, with top-up gel if you need it.
Cost and finance
Home whitening with custom trays starts at £395, including your trays, gel and review appointment.
Interest-free finance is available on treatment over £1,000, subject to status. Sample wording: a real practice uses the approved wording from its finance provider.

- Some people notice temporary sensitivity. It usually fades within a few days of stopping.
- Results vary from person to person, and teeth gradually pick up stains again over time.
- Tea, coffee, red wine and smoking stain teeth fastest.
Every mouth is different. Your dentist will explain the risks and alternatives that apply to you before you decide.
Common questions
Does whitening damage teeth?
Not when it is prescribed and supervised by a dentist and used as directed. Some people get short-term sensitivity.
How long do results last?
It varies. Many people keep most of the change for a year or more, with occasional top-ups.
Will my fillings whiten too?
No. Crowns, veneers and fillings stay the same shade, so we plan around them before you start.
